Jon is a License Marriage and Family Therapist that works with individuals, couples and families.  He works with adults and teens that are struggling with anxiety, depression, stress, anger management, low self-esteem, abuse, trauma, parenting, divorce, PTSD, grief/loss, relationship enhancement, premarital work and chronic illness.  He works collaboratively with clients at their own pace and clients will customize their desired goals.  

He offers a safe and accommodating therapy environment.  He empowers individuals, couples and families to breakthrough challenging life circumstances. Through a renewed hope clients will increase their personal growth and relationships.  He utilizes evidence-based interventions to maximize positive individual and relationship goals.  

Jon earned his Master’s Degree from Friends University and his Undergraduate from Kansas State University.  He serves the community by integrating group leadership in nonprofit settings, organizes fundraisers.

 I believe so many of us experience times in our lives when we need extra help adjusting to life transitions, facing new challenges or healing hurts from the past. I really enjoy working with both teens and adults. I have extensive experience in treating trauma, depression, anxiety, anger, unhealthy relationships, marital problems, behavior issues, family conflict and more.

I also specialize in treating women adjusting to the challenges of pregnancy and motherhood. For many women the transition to motherhood can elicit intense feelings of anxiety and depression. I am here to get you feeling like yourself again and help the entire family adjust to this major life change.
